Seamless Steel Pipe Library: Chemical Composition and Mechanical Properties of P245GH Seamless Steel Pipe
This material features a low upper limit of carbon content and strict control over sulfur and phosphorus impurities, delivering excellent weldability. It can be stably used under working conditions ranging from -10°C to 400°C, making it widely applicable in pressure-bearing scenarios such as boilers and high-temperature, high-pressure pipelines.
Mechanical Properties (Categorized by Wall Thickness)
Wall thickness t ≤ 35mm:
Tensile strength: 410~530 MPa
Yield strength (ReH): ≥245MPa
Post-fracture elongation: longitudinal ≥25%, transverse/longitudinal ≥23%
Room temperature impact absorption energy KV2: Longitudinal ≥40J, Transverse/Tangential ≥27J
35mm<t≤160mm:
Tensile strength: 410~530 MPa
Yield strength (ReH): ≥220MPa
The requirements for elongation after fracture and impact absorption energy are consistent with the specifications for t≤35mm
